AGING PROCESS:

This exceptional wine is aged for 12 months in 2 to 3-year-old French oak barrels, followed by an additional 6 months of maturation in bottles.

WINE PROFILE:

Unveiling a concentrated, brilliant red hue, this wine boasts an array of elegant and intricate aromas. While it exudes a full-bodied character with velvety tannins, it carries a refined demeanor, distinct from its bolder Superiore counterpart. The allure of this wine lies in its immediate drinkability. Crafted from the finest grapes, Greppicante typically features a higher proportion of Merlot, infusing a softer dimension to the wine.

VINIFICATION:

The journey to the bottle begins with alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins, which takes place in stainless steel vats for approximately 30 days, at a controlled temperature of 28°C. The process continues with malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.
